The shipyard stretches along the Steveston channel, with a boat shed and Chinese and Japanese bunkhouses. It tells the cannery and shipbuilding story, including Indigenous, Chinese, and Japanese Canadian workers. You can walk the outside from morning to evening. Indoor buildings often open only on weekends in late fall and winter. The main path works for a stroller. There is a maritime festival around August.
