公园建在一座小山上，中间是从前的采石坑，现在铺成一层层花园。山顶眺望台能同时看见海和山，这就是山海周末这个名字在市区里的样子。布卢德尔温室要另买一张不贵的票，热带植物和锦鲤适合走累了进去坐一会儿。公园本身免费。四月到五月和十月颜色最好。
The park sits on a small hill. The old quarry is now terraced gardens. From the top you can see both the water and the mountains. Bloedel Conservatory needs a small extra ticket. Tropical plants and koi are the reward when legs are tired. The park itself is free. April, May, and October have the best colour.
