The Museum of Anthropology is at the ocean end of the University of British Columbia. The Great Hall looks out through glass to the water. The collection is mainly Northwest Coast Indigenous poles, houses, and masks, plus objects from elsewhere. Children may not read every label, but the carvings are large enough to hold them. Thursday evenings sometimes run late or cost less. Check the site. The lawn outside is windy.
