金耳朵公园的核心对家庭来说是阿卢埃特湖。夏天有沙滩，水凉且深浅变化快，只在有把握的浅水区玩。省立公园旺季常常需要日票，停车场也会满，满了就当天不要再挤进去。湖边适合野餐。到瀑布是另一条路。十月适合岸边散步，游泳季节已经过去。
For families, the heart of Golden Ears is Alouette Lake. Summer has a beach. The water is cold and the depth changes, so stay in shallows you trust. In peak season the provincial park often needs a day pass, and the lot fills. If it is full, do not force it that day. The shore suits a picnic. The waterfall is a different trail. October is for walking the shore, not swimming.
