鹿湖是伯纳比最适合全家散步的湖。岸边平路能推车，有游乐场、野餐和一小片沙滩。伯纳比美术馆占着湖边一栋老房子，感兴趣可以进去看，不看也不耽误玩。夏天能租小船，孩子穿救生衣。秋季湖边有颜色。和乡村博物馆、伯纳比湖不要排得太满，两个湖选一个下午就好。
Deer Lake is Burnaby's easiest family walk. The shore path is flat, with a playground, picnics, and a small beach. The Burnaby Art Gallery occupies an old house and can be skipped without ruining the day. Small boats rent in summer. Wear life jackets. Fall colour is good along the shore. Do not try to do this lake, the village museum, and Burnaby Lake as one overpacked afternoon.
